Mr. Boris is the founder, President and CEO of American
Mortgage Solutions, LLC, a National Commercial Mortgage Banking
Company specializing in the origination, underwriting, funding
and servicing of FHA Multifamily Apartment and Healthcare
loans nationwide.

Prior
to forming American Mortgage Solutions, LLC, from July
1997 through February 2003, Mr. Boris was Vice President – FHA
Lending for Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC. As Vice President-FHA
Lending, Mr. Boris supervised Arbor’s National FHA
Multifamily Apartment and Healthcare Financing Division.
Mr. Boris oversaw Arbor’s FHA Division, including annual
budgeting, managing all FHA personnel, as well as, coordinating
the origination, processing, and funding of FHA-Insured Multifamily
Apartment and Healthcare Real Estate Loans Nationwide.
Arbor
was a National Commercial Mortgage Banking Company providing
loan programs for numerous types of commercial
real estate, and a FHA Mortgagee providing funds
for the acquisition, refinance, rehabilitation, and new
construction of Multifamily Apartments and Healthcare
Facilities throughout
the United States.
During his career, Mr. Boris has arranged well over $700
million in FHA-Insured healthcare and multifamily financing,
representing more than 14,000 units of housing located
throughout the United States.
Prior
to joining Arbor, from August, 1993 through June 1997,
Mr. Boris was Vice President & Manager-Insured Loans
at GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corporation, where he also specialized
in arranging FHA-Insured Financing throughout the United
States.
Prior to joining GMAC, from November 1987 to August 1993
Mr. Boris was Vice President, Insured Financing at Cambridge
Realty Capital, LTD., a commercial mortgage banking firm
based in Chicago, where he started his specialized career
of arranging FHA Insured Financing.
Mr. Boris’ career
commenced in servicing FHA loans for Cambridge Realty Capital,
LTD., where he further expanded
his experience to include underwriting and subsequently origination
of HUD-Insured project loans under all of the Sections noted
herein.
Throughout
his career, Mr. Boris has underwritten and acted as the
underwriting reviewer on dozens of loan applications
submitted nationally to HUD under the Fasttrack and MAP Programs.
The projects underwritten included those under HUD Program
Sections 221(d)(4) – Rehab and New, 223(f) - Refi’s
and Purchases, 232 – New and Rehab, and 232 Pursuant
to 223(f) – Refi’s and Purchases.
Mr. Boris’ underwriting
experience includes mortgage credit review and analysis,
review of valuation, architectural,
cost, and environmental reports, attending and conducting
site inspections and pre-application meetings, and the preparation
of narrative reports for inclusion in HUD Pre-application
stage and Firm Commitment stage MAP applications.
In addition to the actual underwriting of HUD-Insured loans,
Mr. Boris has served as the quality control reviewer on hundreds
of millions of dollars of HUD-Insured loans under both the
Fasttrack and MAP program guidelines.
Mr.
Boris has also been actively involved in the preparation
and
review of closing documents including closing statements
and supporting documents submitted to HUD counsel for
initial and final loan closings.
